Austria, Vienna, circa 1820. A luxurious and rare model with a gilt brass case. Enamel dial with Arabic numerals, signed Rettich in Wien. Gilt guilloché central chapter ring. Movement with verge escapement; quarter striking (4/4) on gongs and alarm striking on a bell. Blued steel hands. Overall dimensions: 23 × 14 × 7 cm.
