Germany, Meissen, last quarter of the 19th century. Porcelain clock case with allegories of the four seasons, polychrome painted, richly decorated with applied plastic flowers. Marked underglaze with the blue crossed swords mark of Meissen Porcelain Manufactory, model number 2172, movement with anchor escapement, spring-driven, half-hour striking on a bell, marked Lenzkirch AUG 1 Million, movement no. 372441, enamel dial with Roman numerals and minute track with Arabic numerals, overall dimensions 47 × 30 × 16 cm.
